UNESCO | Ancient Beech Forests of Germany

In June 2011 five ancient beech forests in Germany became part of the UNESCO World Heritage. These forests are incredibly valuable as they are the last remains of unspoilt, ancient lowland beech forests as well as low mountain range forests in Germany. This film reflects the variety and uniqueness of the beech forests.
